    Tang-Kuei , Peony, Cnidium:   These herbs can contribute to the supply and circulation of the blood and promote the metabolism of pigment cells.
    Salvia, Carthamus:   These herbs invigorate the blood, dissipates the blood stasis, and increase the skin pigmentation.
    Psoralea, Cuscuta , Polygoni Multiflori Radix:   These herbs enrich the liver, supply the kidneys to nourish the blood, and stimulate the production of melanocytes.
